Counseling

Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Your inner world is layered, intricate, alive—and therapy should meet you there. My approach is deeply personal, rooted in Internal Family Systems - expansive enough to hold the whole of you. We might work with creative expression, mindfulness, dreamwork, Tarot, active imagination, or transpersonal and psychodynamic approaches. I might ask you to step outside, letting nature be part of the process, or use clinical hypnotherapy to access the deeper currents of your healing. Wherever you are, we start there.

I accept many major insurance plans, though it’s important to know that using insurance requires a mental health diagnosis, which could have implications for future coverage or certain career paths. Not all approaches are covered, but we can explore what works best for you. If you have questions, let’s talk—this is about finding the support that truly fits you.

Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.

Internal Family Systems

Have you ever paused in a quiet moment and heard the whispers of your inner world? The push and pull of conflicting emotions—the part of you eager for change, while another clings to the familiar? The love you feel for someone, yet the ache of loneliness that lingers? These voices, these echoes of old wounds, are not random. They are parts of you, each carrying a story, each longing to be heard.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a new way of understanding yourself—not as something to fix, but as a tapestry of parts, each with a purpose. The Inner Critic who tries to protect you from judgment, the Worrier looping endless “what ifs”, the Distractor pulling you into scrolling to escape old pain—these parts are not your enemies. They are messengers. And when met with compassion, they begin to soften, to trust, to heal.

At the core of this work is *you*—your truest Self, the calm, curious, compassionate presence within. When you step forward as the leader of your inner world, harmony becomes possible. Healing isn’t about erasing the past; it’s about embracing every part of yourself, even the messy, tender, imperfect ones.

Are you ready to listen—to yourself, to your story, to the wisdom within? The path is here, waiting. Let’s walk it together.

The Guest House

This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!

Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.

Clinical Supervision & Consultation

I am a Registered Supervisor with the Idaho Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists, offering clinical supervision and consultation for those working toward their clinical endorsement.

Supervision isn’t just about case consultation—it’s about getting to know you as a person, helping you to flesh out what this sacred work means to you. Using an IFS-informed approach, we’ll explore how your parts show up in the therapy room, uncovering the dynamics that shape your work. Through creative tools and deep self-inquiry, we’ll strengthen your Self-leadership, helping you show up for your clients with more clarity, confidence, and presence. Let’s make this journey one of growth, insight, and transformation—both for you and the people you serve.

Please contact me to discuss details.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Imagine a space where your mind softens, the noise quiets, and you slip into a deep, natural calm. This is the essence of Clinical Hypnotherapy—a gentle, transformative practice that helps you access the wisdom and healing already within you.

I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, trained at the Institute for Advanced Counselor Training under Rick Boyes, Ph.D., LCPC, CCHT. Hypnosis isn’t a foreign experience—it’s the state you enter when lost in a book, drifting in a daydream, or driving on autopilot. In this relaxed, focused space, we can work together to ease anxiety, manage pain, heal past wounds, and reconnect with your intuition and higher self.

You are always in control. Hypnosis isn’t about surrendering power but reclaiming it—gently shifting patterns, releasing what no longer serves you, and stepping into a clearer, more centered version of yourself.

If you’re curious, if something in you is leaning toward this path, reach out. Healing is already within you—hypnotherapy simply helps you remember.
