It is by going down into the abyss
that we recover the treasures of life.
Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.

As a counselor, it is my intention to hold a space that inspires deep healing, courage, lasting transformation, and the wholistic abundance that is your birthright.  I believe that the counseling relationship will allow you to more fully understand how life's challenges have led you to this moment, and uplift that wisdom to be an active creator in the life you desire. Through the therapeutic temenos (sacred space), you will find a place to lay down your armor, find your tenderness within, and emerge into your full authenticity.  It is my hope that in our time together, you will discover your unique and healing relationship with yourself and the world around you, and intuitively reconnect with your authentic, inspired Self.

Using creative and holistic approaches, I encourage those I work with to tune into their natural abilities to heal from mental and emotional wounds, oppressive and harmful systems, and traumatic experiences, to explore overlooked possibilities, and to create the life they desire. As a cisgender, white, able-bodied woman, I am committed to raising my consciousness around these identities, the privileges they afford, and how they impact the healing relationship.  From a heart centered and Soul-led place, I will meet you where you're at and allow you the space to explore and process life's burdens.  What you seek is already within you. We will work together to find it.  I can't wait to hear from you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT), and a Certified Soul Realignment Practitioner with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University.  I have eighteen years of combined experience as a counselor and community mental health provider in the Treasure Valley.  For a list of my education and training, please go here.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Our minds are so incredibly powerful! Hypnotherapy can be a dynamic tool to tap into the inherent healing and transformative abilities we already possess, through our subconscious mind. With hypnotherapy, I will assist your unconscious to accept beneficial ideas and suggestions that assist you in healing and reaching your goals. Together, along with your Highest Self, we will define what changes you are longing for. You are fully in control for the entirety of our time together.

Clinical Hypnotherapy utilized with Internal Family Systems is beneficial for a variety of concerns, including childhood trauma, inner child healing, chronic pain, letting go of outdated or unhealthy ways of coping, to improve confidence and performance abilities, and to improve interactions with others.

Adolescence can be a very confusing time and teens experience unique pressures. More and more teens are finding themselves in a state of information overload, which can lead to depression, social isolation, anxiety, low self-esteem, and risky or unexpected behaviors.  Some of my work with teens includes developing healthy coping for anxiety and stress, reducing perfectionism and increasing self-acceptance, improving self-esteem and feelings of self-worth, developing emotional intelligence and empathy, creating healthy relationships with family and peers, and recovery from trauma.  I utilize creative methods including art, music, journaling, animation, and mindfulness. Whether you are a teen looking for counseling, or a concerned parent, I would love to help!  I currently work with adolescents ages 13-18.

Clinical Supervision and Consultation

I am a Registered Supervisor with the Idaho Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists.  At this time, I am able to supervise new counselors (LPCs) working toward their clinical license.  Please contact me to discuss details.
